MY STORY

I am an adoptive mom of two beautiful, crazy, delightful children! I have helped MANY people adopt children of their own. I would love to help you too!

"Is your name really Nancy Drew?" This is the first question I am often asked... and the answer is no. My name is Nancy and my son's name is Drew. Before my daughter was born I chose nancydrew as my email address. It always made people laugh and they always remembered it so I decided (much to my daughter Grace's chagrin) to name my business Nancy Drew Creative.

This business is a combination of everything I love. First and foremost I love adoption. My husband and I adopted both of our children when they were infants. If I loved them any more, my heart would burst! They have taught me that family and bonding have nothing to do with biology. I enjoy telling my story and giving encouragement to people considering adoption.

I also love design, COLOR, fonts and I may be a tad obsessed with polka dots! Most importantly, I love storytelling. I have always loved getting to know people and hearing the stories of their lives. I love finding the unique things that make them who they are. I especially enjoy finding out their funny stories, as I LOVE a good laugh!

The best part is I get to combine all these loves to make adoption profiles! I also get to do it from my home where I may, or may not, work in my pajamas some days. ;)

There is nothing more satisfying than helping a family to create a profile that gets them chosen by a birthmother! Those happy phone calls are my real paycheck!
